Mayan Motif Crop Circle Formation Returns to Silbury Hill

Just what is this formation that appeared so close to Silbury Hill telling us?

Summer 2009 has been another treasure trove of crop circle formations and they just keep getting better and more interesting. We have previously featured articles on the Phoenix and Dragonfly formations (which appeared in the same field) as well as the amazing Jellyfish formation found nearby. On July 5 a Mayan style crop circle formation appeared near the ancient and mysterious Silbury Hill, which is the tallest prehistoric man-made mound in Europe and is near Avebury, Wiltshire. Even though mainstream media spends a lot of time trying to debunk crop circles, the majority of formations that appear in England near neolithic sites are never proven as hoaxes; they are simply created by forces that we currently do not understand.

As noted by our friends over at Crop Circle Connector speculate, “This spellbinding event brings back memories of another wonderful formation also with a Mayan motif that appeared at Silbury Hill in 2004. Both these events could be making us aware of the date of the 21st December 2012. This is the date the Mayan calendar comes to an end.

Skeptics and many scientists always point to the fact that some 75-80% of crop circles are hoaxes, which is true.

What they are at a loss to explain is that the 15-20% that can not be proven to be hoaxes, involve such strange phenomenon as: 1) Plants are heated, bent, and cooled at the base, without breaking. 2) The plants continue to grow!! 3) Traces of metallic beads scattered around the site 4) Patterns so complex they would require a small army more than 8 hours to produce. These are just a few of the signs that no human was involved in their making.

Efforts have been made to create hoax crop circles that meet all the criteria… none have succeeded.

Like the UFO phenomenon, which is closely related, there will always be the grain of truth, the 15% that can not be explained. Who cares about the hoaxes? The real mystery, the truth, is in the 15% that has not yet been explained, and can not be denied.
