Amazing 3D Sidewalk Art Photos

These unbelievable photos are chalk drawings done by Julian Beever and Kurt Wenner. Both Julian and Kurt have different styles to create an amazing 3D illusion.

Scroll down slowly and stop at each new frame. Julian Beever is an English artist who’s famous for his art on the pavement of England, France, Germany, USA, Australia and Belgium.

Most of his artwork it is impossible to tell whats real from what’s an illusion. Very cool stuff.

This art kicks ass. All of those pieces are some of the craziest pictures i’ve ever seen! Absolutely crazy! It’s so crazy that someone can map that out on paper and then put it on the sidewalk with some chalk. Crazy! Absolutely Crazy! I mean what was this guy smoking?

ART WORK IS THE BEST EXPRESSION OF SELF . I FEEL DUDE HAS NOT EVEN LET HIS TRU CAPABILITIES SHINE AND TO LET HIS WORK BE WEATHERED AWAY IS STUPIDITY IN THE MAKING HE SHOULD HAVE A DEAL WITH BIG HEADZ/S THE STICK ON WALL PRO SPORTS POSTERS OR ETC… ENDLESS POSSIBLE WEALTHY ENDING FOR THE GUY. I SEE WAY MORE CHANNELS WERE THE WORK WOULD LAST LONGER THAN HIS PROSPEROUS,CREATIVE LIFE. ITS SO CRAZY WHY NOT HAVE MORE THAN A WEB PAGE OR PHOTOS. LET PEOPLE SEE THIS 200 YEARS FROM NOW. JUS LITTLE THOUGHTS FORM MY HEAD LOVE THE WORK.

INTENSE! And that isn’t a strong enough word to describe this art form. Even more unbelievable when you look at it from the “wrong” angle and think of how he had to compose each piece “out of whack”, so to speak, to get them to look “right”. I have got to try this. What a challenge.

Truly amazing, God could only make this, you are extremely talented and should be known all over the world. You could make millions of dollars doing advertisement, and doing commercials for the TV. You should be in history. I find that you have a real eye at art, and I think you know what I mean. You don’t have to be good at art, you just has to have the eye to do it. Those people must be the luckiest people on Earth to experience you up close. Your art work should be know, and your name should be remembered. You must tell me where I can find you, or where I can find some of your amazing art work. Though you might not want it on television, you must be remembered any way. You should have a art tour where you travel all over the world. You have what they call “TRUE SIGHT”

Ian Lee on April 14th, 2008

I find this art lacks substance and quality. The foundation of this art is weak and does not portray anything meaningful in any way. It is a good thing it washes away in the rain.

[...] An English man, Julian Beever is the most famous for his side walk artistic display in England and in a few other European countries and USA. The visual illusions created by him are so extra-ordinarily outstanding that it would be tough for us to believe they are just that: visual illusions! Quite a few of his art work has been drawn and displayed on some of the side-walks of these countries to the utter delight of the onlookers! You may as well get delighted on seeing his work at: http://www.impactlab.com/2006/03/09/amazing-3d-sidewalk-art-photos/ [...]
